Online Renewal Service

The registration renewal process has been made more convenient with an online renewal service that is now available for snowmobile renewals and will be available for boat renewals in early December.

The renewal process for ATV’s, Motorbikes and UTV’s will be brought online at a later date, due to recent legislation and changes in the registration requirements for these vehicles. Click here for additional details on those changes.

Your renewal reminders, with the vehicle information included on the card, will be required in order to complete your renewal online.

As part of your renewal online, you may also update your address, phone, email address, and designated use areas for your snowmobile and/or boat.

Changes to the vehicle owner’s name and/or vehicle characteristics such as make/model cannot be performed online. Renewals requiring these changes must be mailed to IDPR or performed at a qualified vendor or county MVD.
