Centennial Trail Route Download

The provided.GPX files  correspond with sections of the Idaho Centennial Trail and are importable by most major GPS mapping and mapping software.

We have tested .GPX  on Google Earth, Delmore Topo, Garmin MapSource and National Geographic Topo software and have successfully been able to download the route on to the software map. Unfortunately, The data download does not contain mileages and other route descriptions.

To keep the file size manageable, we have broken down the Centennial Trail in to four (4) files:

North
Middle
South
Alternates around Wilderness

Downloading

To download the route to your mapping software, 1) Save the file to your computer; 2) open your mapping software program; 3) import or open the GPX file and the route will be transferred to your mapping program.

If the .GPX file is too large for your software, you may find a less smooth line because the software deleted a few data points to make it fit. If you would like to know more about the GPX file format click here for details: http://www.topografix.com/gpx_for_users.asp
