Eagle IslandThis day-use park features a popular swimming beach, concessions, grassy picnic areas with tables, a group shelter and a waterslide. It’s a great getaway near the capital city. Pets and glass containers are not allowed in the park. Waterslide rides are 10 for $4, vehicle entrance fee is $3, and shelter reservation fee is $25. An all-day, unlimited-ride pass is available for $8. Open Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend. Call for shoulder season use.
